8. You will be prompted to enter your M-Pesa PIN to confirm the transaction.
9. Review the transaction details and press “OK” to confirm the payment.
10. You will receive a confirmation SMS from M-Pesa and another one from your KPLC with your token information.

How to Buy Tokens Using Equitel

If you have an Equitel line, here are the steps to purchase tokens:

1. Select “Eazzy Pay” from your Equitel menu.
2. Within Eazzy Pay, choose the “Pay Bill” option.
3. Select the bank account number you want to make the payment from. For example, enter your bank account number, e.g., 0123456789102.
4. Specify the business number for KPLC tokens.
5. Enter your KPLC Prepaid Meter number, which typically looks like this (e.g., 37168917674), and press OK to confirm.
6. Enter the amount you want to pay for your KPLC tokens. The amount should be between Kshs. 100 and 500,000.
7. Enter your Equitel PIN, which is your Personal Identification Number, and press OK to confirm the payment.

How to Purchase Tokens Through Airtel Money

To purchase tokens through Airtel money follow these steps:

1. Access the Airtel Money menu.
2. Select make payments then choose the  “Pay Bill”  option.
3. Choose KPLC prepaid.
4. Enter the amount or quantity of tokens you want to purchase.
5. Enter your Airtel Money PIN or provide any other required authentication.
6. Enter the ‘reference number’ which is your KPLC prepaid number’
7. Confirm the payment.

Postpaid by Mpesa

1. Dial *415# on your Safaricom phone.
2. Select option 2 (KPLC).

5. If everything is correct, press 1 for “Yes.”

1. Dial *369# from your Safaricom SIM card.
2. Select option 5 for “KPLC tokens.”
